Days 1–3: You'll sleep on your stomach or side. Getting up requires rolling technique (no pressure on your butt). Walking to the bathroom is your main exercise. Pain is manageable with prescribed medication — most patients describe it as intense soreness rather than sharp pain. Swelling peaks around day 2–3.
